In July 2019, we
conducted a conference in Lampung Timur, Sumatra island. For the first time,
I visit this district. This district is a dangerous area. Many robbers will
stop people on the forest road. We need about 4 hours to reach the place from
Radin Inten II Airport in
Lampung city. We passed several forest areas, and my driver told me that many
robbers will stop us if we make a trip at night.
We taught the topic of
the Basic
Principles of Interpretation for rural pastors. The first day
of the conference is Friday on July 19th in around day. The meeting was
continued again after dinner from 6 PM to 9 PM. Then on Saturday, July 20th,
from 9 AM to 4 PM, I taught to finish Basic Principles of Interpretation around a day. The attendees very enthusiastic, and after the
seminar, they hope we can come again to teach them |
